Colson Kelly, also known as Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique way he raps. Baker was born in Houston Texas, U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents, who were two missionaries at the time, took him to several trips in his early years. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed and Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker along with his father moved to Denver in the United States, and they stayed at the house of his dad's aunt. Baker received a lot of attention from other kids because of his poverty. Baker began to listen to rap when he was in the sixth class. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. The artist is famous for mixing modern and alternative hip-hop with rock music in his compositions. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. With lyrics that are as fast of a bullet train this Cleveland rapper saw a meteoric increase in the latter half of 2011 as Baker made the switch from releasing self-released mixtapes, to signing with well-known labels. The fame of this Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after the release of his first mixtape at the end of 2011.
