Claire Elise Boucher,/bu:'SeI/boo-SHAY,[1] was born on 17 March 1988. Her stage name is Grimes. 2] 3] The variety of her first music was described as "lo fi R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". In addition, she has included elements of hip-hop electronic music, as well as rock. The majority of her songs touch upon science fiction themes as well as feminist issues. The singer has recorded five albums. Grimes was raised in Vancouver and later moved to Montreal. She began her independently-based music career in the mid decade. In 2010, she debuted two albums on Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. She subsequently became a member of 4AD and gained acclaim after the release of her third album Visions that was released in 2012. Visions includes the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" and won it the Juno Award in Canada for Electronic Album of the year. The album followed this and the fourth album of her studio, Art Angels, was launched in 2015 and earned reviews of praise, as several magazines declared it to be the top album of the year. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth studio album. Grimes is also a judge in Alter Ego, a music contest. Grimes was also a participant of Cyberpunk 2077 2020 role-playing game. Georges Georges Georges
