Aimee Carrero

Aimee Veronica Carrero was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and is an American voice actor and actress. Her most well-known work is her role as Angie Prietto in the Cartoon Network live-action television show Level Up. Between 2014 and 2018, she played as Sofia Rodriguez in the ABC Family/Freeform sitcom Young & Hungry and Young & Foodies. She is also voicing Adora/She Ra on the DreamWorks animated show She-Ra & the Princesses of Power, which can be seen on Netflix. Carrero has been engaged to the actor Tim Rock in November 2015 and they were married on August 16, 2016. The actress voiced Elena The Princess of Avalor as part of Sofia the First, a spinoff from the series. Additionally, she portrayed Tasha and Mia as well in "Skater Girl Island" as well as an episode on Hannah Montana. She played Sylvia Torres on Lincoln Heights on ABC Family and Sydney on Baby Daddy.
